Martha C. Hall
Fabric Artist and Quiltmaker
I am a fabric artist and quilt maker, dyeing fabric, stitching fabric, and quilting layers to create contemporary quilt art. My influences include traditional patchwork, the grid, color, pattern, storytelling, memories, collections, ephemera, and recycling. I studied painting and textile design in art school and although I love to do it all, I keep my primary focus on textiles and fabric because these were my first loves.
